Not sure the reason but the registration submissions was getting heavily spammed.

Funny because I made it possible to do so but never really said anywhere it was open.

I figure it was automated somehow.

Anyway, I added the requirement for a passcode when requesting to register and the spam has stopped.

I doubt anyone has actually put in a real request. So, I went ahead and delete them all.

Down the road I will make the pass code readily available for potential users and editors.

But I do not feel that it is really ready for that at this time.

If however someone does want to contribute at this time then I can be contacted on the official forums.

This weekend I have managed to do a little bit.

I seem to have a basic layout starting to come together.

And I have been adding what mostly amounts to placeholder/filler info many of the pages.

Still a long ways to go in just that regard.

Time will tell if it ever amounts to anything. But I will keep chipping at it.

Still a lot left to do but I probably will not be able to get back to it much until next weekend.

I do now have the domain redirecting to this site from the default page, so people should be able to freely access the site for viewing from this point on.

I am not completely sure if I have addressed the issues with email.

If it works then people should be able to register for the site.

If not I may have to look into other ways to allow people to register until I am able to correct the issue.

I had some success at receiving emails from the site.

Hopefully this will be enough to allow users to get conformation emails when they try to register.

I think before the end of the weekend I will attempt in getting an entry page set up at mortailii.com or possibly redirect it to the main page here.

Though every thing is still pretty barebones at his time.

Got a little bit of a start on the site but ran into a little bit of a hurdle with the email set up.

This issue does not allow confirmation emails and such to be sent out.

So users will not be able to register directly until I am able to correct this issue.

I have spent a bit of time on this issue already but am going to concentrate on the site itself again for now.

Worse case is that registrations will have to be done manually.

But hopefully It does not have to come down to that.

Picked up the domain Mortalii.com and trying to put together something with Tiki wiki.

In the spirit of MO, My goal is to make a community driven site that grows from the interactions of the community.

I am currently giving the software called Tiki Wiki a try because it offers a lot more than just a simple wiki.

Some such things are:

Forums - to communicate with each other.

Spreadsheet - functionality for making spreadsheets.

Directory - for site listings

Community Article system - Allow community to submit, articles, guides, notifications and classified like ads.
